Maple PEAR crumble skillet made with in-season pears, almond flour, pecans, oats, cinnamon & vanilla maple syrup from The Maple Guild.
Skillet desserts are my absolute favorite. Not are they easy to put together, they present well so you can take them from the oven straight to the kitchen table.
Crumbles are no stranger to Nutrition By Mia. If you search the archives, you will find a fig, blueberry and apple crumble. Utilizing PEARS adds a seasonal touch to one of my favorite desserts. You can even use this recipe as a base for whatever seasonal produce you have on hand.
My 8-inch cast iron skillet gets a lot of use and is perfect if you live by yourself or with a partner. Whether you are making a dessert or savory entree, it works wonders because you can use it on the stove top and in the oven. You can find my go-to skillet here.
