A pink probiotic punch sweetened with 100% juice – no added sugar. A festive way to cheers to Valentine’s Day.
Tomorrow is officially Valentine’s Day which means there is no better reason to bust out the red and pink.
I loved sharing Valentine’s Day food ideas last Friday on ABC’s Low Country Live. While my main focus was on ways to make your food festive with a healthy twist, you certainly can’t forget the beverages. Most punches and cocktails are loaded with added sugar so I took a healthy approach with a grapefruit punch to make it both festive and nutritious.
This punch is made with just a handful of ingredients and is naturally sweetened using Uncle Matt’s organic grapefruit juice and grapefruit water with probiotics.
I recommend this brand because they have no added sugar or preservatives. Their drinks are made with organic citrus so they are naturally high in vitamin C. Additionally, their grapefruit water has a functional component – probiotics! Probiotics are those beneficial bacteria that support a healthy digestion and immune system.
Feel free to make this punch with champagne for bubbles or with sparkling water for the kid-friendly version.
The grapefruit gives it just enough sweetness so that you don’t have to add any other sources of sweetener.
Cheers! Don’t forget to share your Valentine’s Day creations with me on Instagram!
