Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving!
The first day back after a long weekend is always hard so I am making it a little easier with my 30-second apple crumble skillet (30 second video, that is).
Nutritious and delicious, you can enjoy it for dessert OR breakfast.
This is one of my favorite, EASY desserts to make with in-season produce. The crumble topping is always the same, a mix of oats, almond flour, cinnamon, maple syrup and coconut oil.
Baked in the oven for 20-30 minutes and served with whipped cream or ice cream.
You all know how much I love my skillet recipes. Oven to table serving is everything during the busy holiday season.
Fall produce like pears and apples work seamlessly in this recipe because they hold up better than berries in the summer. These are made with in-season apples. Eating in-season produce is better for us on the nutrition and taste front and typically more widely available in the grocery store… and at a better price.
