Oat Breakfast Squares 3 Ways

If you are a looking for a perfectly sweet make-ahead breakfast option, then you will love these oat breakfast squares 3 ways!

They are made with a base of fiber-rich whole grain oats which provide energizing carbohydrates and B vitamins that support energy production. Milk not only adds protein and calcium but a creamy taste to this recipe. Finally, the add-ins make these a breakfast winner! Try chocolate banana, blueberry walnut or apple cinnamon depending on your mood.

Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Squares

Ingredients
  

  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cup oats
  • 8 oz. milk
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup applesauce, unsweetened

Instructions
 

  • Process 1 cup of oats into flour in a food processor, then combine all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl by hand.
  • Transfer to a lined bread pan and bake for 25-30 min at 350 F. Double recipe if using an 8 x 8 pan.

Blueberry Walnut Breakfast Squares

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cup oats
  • 8 oz. milk
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Process 1 cup of oats into flour in a food processor, then combine all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl by hand.
  • Transfer to a lined bread pan and bake for 25-30 min at 350 F. Double recipe if using an 8 x 8 pan.

Chocolate Banana Breakfast Squares

Cook Time 30 mins

Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cup oats
  • 8 oz. milk
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Process 1 cup of oats into flour in a food processor, then add banana and process until combined and smooth. 
  • Transfer to a large mixing bowl with remaining ingredients and mix until uniform by hand. 
  • Transfer to a lined bread pan and bake for 25-30 min at 350 F. Double recipe if using an 8 x 8 pan.
