It’s National Breakfast Month! Today, I shared 15 minute breakfast ideas on Good Day Sacramento.
First up is my single-serve breakfast skillet
Cook your veggies and stir in 1 serving of S&W Pinquito Beans which adds 6-7 grams of plant-based protein, about the same amount found in one egg or 1 oz. of meat or fish. Canned beans are a convenient and versatile ingredient to make quick, satisfying meals. The S&W Heirloom Series are a unique, colorful addition, exclusively grown by hand-picked farmers – only available from S&W Beans at Whole Foods and on Amazon. Then the “secret weapon” ingredient is the NEW Avocado Hot Sauce by Herdez made with real avocados that adds a unique, tangy flavor and creamy touch of heat.
Next, we have elevated overnight oats
Start with ½ cup of organic sprouted rolled oats. Sprouting makes oats easier to digest and increased the protein, vitamins and minerals. One Degree Organics uses clean organic ingredients and plant-based farming methods. Add chia seeds, maple syrup and oat milk. Place in the fridge overnight and top with fruit in the morning.
Finally, I have blender-free smoothies!
Simply pop Evive smoothie cubes into a jar, cover with milk and let it sit for 20 minutes before shaking! Each smoothie is made with organic fruits, vegetables and plant-based protein.
