Transitioning to all things FALL with this crunchy, high-fiber Bourbon Barrel superfood granola sweetened with The Maple Guild Bourbon Barrel Maple Syrup aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels for a smokey, Southern touch.
I am a granola lover through and through.
I’m adding to everything from my morning yogurt, oatmeal and desserts. A good granola has the right combination of crunch and sweetness, and this one definitely fits the bill. It’s made with “superfoods” otherwise known as ingredients with a high nutrient density (nutrient to calorie ratio).
I made this with ingredients I had in my cupboard including pepitas – aka pumpkin seeds which are a good source of magnesium, quinoa – a good source of complete PLANT protein and oats which boast fiber which supports digestion and elimination.
Enjoy this granola with your morning yogurt for some added protein and staying power.
