It’s officially back to school time which means schedules have ramped up for both kids and parents.
Breakfast can be especially challenging to get on the table during busy mornings. I am always exploring nutritious options that are parent approved and most importantly – can be made in less than 10 minutes.
Enter: stovetop oats, 6 ways!
This nutritious addition to breakfast can be made in 10 minutes or less so it’s convenient for busy mornings. Plus, it’s so customizable that you’ll find a combination for everyone in the family.
Oats are a super grain and possess more possibilities than people think. They are highly versatile, offering countless ways to get more nutrition and taste out of what we eat each day. The best part is that you can make them savory or sweet AND hot or cold.
Oats, like other whole grains, are comprised of complex carbohydrates. Consuming oats over the course of the day can help increase whole grain consumption, an area that most Americans fall short on according to NHANES data.
