Smoothies 6 Ways

The weather is finally starting to warm up in Charleston which has be craving SMOOTHIES. I never used to be a smoothie person until I started trying new combination and adding unlikely ingredients like whole grain oats to thicken and superfood ingredients like turmeric and hemp seeds.

Smoothies are an easy way to pack a lot of nutrition into your day and meet your recommended five servings of fruits and veggies. If you find yourself falling short when it comes to your produce intake, then making a fruit and vegetable smoothie first thing in the morning, is a great and easy way to get your day started on the right foot.

Fruit and veggies are naturally low in calories but high in vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants that our body needs. Try these combos below and let me know your favorite on Instagram!
