Spring is in the air! Who else is excited for warm weather?
Living in Charleston, SC, we are definitely among the first to experience warmer temps and the past few weeks have reached high 70s and 80s. Warm weather has me craving all things refreshing like… SMOOTHIE BOWLS. Eating smoothies out of a bowl is just more fun than drinking from a glass, would you agree?
These four combos are packed with fresh fruits and veggies and “superfood” ingredients like chia and hemp seeds – good source of plant protein and cacao powder, rich in antioxidants.
Smoothie Bowls 4 Ways
Ingredients
Pineapple Kiwi
- 1 kiwi
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1 tbsp hemp hearts
- 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 handful of spinac
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp Icelandic wild fish oil smoothie booster * optional
Chocolate Peanut Butter
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs
- 1 tbsp PB
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp Icelandic wild fish oil smoothie booster *optional
Mango Citrus:
- 1 banana
- 1 orange
- 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp bee pollen
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp Icelandic wild fish oil smoothie booster
Berry Peach
- 1 peach
- 1/2 cup raspberries
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp Icelandic wild fish oil smoothie booster * Optional
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
