News 4 Jacksonville: Super Bowl Party at Home

We are getting Super Bowl ready today on News 4 Jacksonville’s River City Live!

First, balance your game day platter with protein and produce and heat-and-eat options.

I like to start out with the Farm Rich Snacks because you just throw them in the oven or air fryer and they are ready to eat. I like to serve th breaded mozzarella sticks, buffalo style boneless chicken bites and Breaded Jalapeño peppers filled with cream cheese. You can find them in the freezer aisle at Publix, Winn Dixie and more just check the store locator at FarmRIch.com.

For protein and produce, I love buffalo chicken stuffed celery.

I like Dandy celery because its sweeter, crispier, crunchier, and less stringy than other celery brands. It’s also a great crunchy low calorie chip substitute and perfect for dipping or stuffing. You can find a variety of pre-washed, pre-cut pack sizes at Publix, Walmart and Target.

Next, this 7 layer Mediterranean dip can feed a crowd.

It’s made with tzatziki, red onion, pine nuts, cucumber, tomato, olives and hummus. I use Fresh Craving’s hummus because it’s made with a short list of high-quality ingredients like chickpeas, savory tahini and Chilean extra virgin olive oil. You can find it in flavors like Classic and Roasted Red Pepper at Walmart, Winn Dixie and Publix.  Serve with pita chips

Crostini is another easy game day finger food.

For the topping, I combined, basil, salt, pepper, extra virgin olive oil and Pastene Kitchen Ready® Crushed Peeled Chunky Style Tomatoes. You can find a variety of their canned tomatoes at Publix on sale right now – which are great for using in sauces, casserole, soups and more.
