Things are getting SPOOKY with Halloween only five days away. Celebrate the holiday and entertain guests this fall with mystical mulled red wine made with fall spices and Opici Wine’s Auspicion Mystic Red.
Halloween is my favorite holiday. Yes, even over Christmas!
I love watching the seasons change from summer to crisp fall and seeing the historic southern homes adorned in autumnal decor.
Fall also means bringing the entertaining from the porch to indoors, opting for warmer foods over raw salads and choosing red over white wine!
If you are in search of a spooky fall beverage that comes together in ten minutes, look no further.
This mulled red wine is the perfect adult-friendly, fall beverage to serve all season long – yes, not just Halloween!
This spooky beverage is made with the Auspicion Wines produced in beautiful northern California wine country.
I used the Mystic Red but it also comes in a Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
These wines are PERFECT for Halloween because they were made to capture elements of mystery and mysticism, which is reflected in their complex and rewarding taste. They are food-friendly wine – (which is something I always look for!) and retail for less than $12 a bottle – so it’s a great value.
Tune in to Good Food Friday tomorrow on ABC WCIV-TV for more sweet and spooky ideas to celebrate Halloween! I will be sharing ideas for both kids and adults.
