FOX Business: Is Plant-based here to stay?

July 26, 2019

Beyond Meat shares unstoppable… Baskin Robins trying its hand in vegan… Is this trend here to stay?

Now more than ever people want to know about the food they eat. They aren’t just concerned with whether it is healthy or not but whether its sustainably produced, is it plant based, organic, local. The increasing awareness of people regarding animals and their welfare, as well as their personal health and climate change, is behind the increasing demand for plant products.

Much of the world is trending towards plant-based eating — and I think that this global shift could be here to stay – because not only is it good for our health but the environment as well.
