Christmas countdown is on! Today on Good Day Sacramento, I share healthy holiday recipes for the season.

Gingerbread Banana Bread

Hello, vegan gluten-free gingerbread banana bread! Simply add bananas, maple syrup, nut milk, oil and the GoNanas Gingerbread banana bread mix to a bowl, combine and transfer to a bread pan. It’s made with wholesome, real ingredients like oats, spices and flax. It tastes decadent just like your nanas but better for you and come in seasonal varieties. You can find them at gonanas.com.

Next I have 6-ingredient cut out cookies made with almond flour and Cocavo which is a coconut and avocado oil blend from Walmart. Cocavo natural has more of that coconut flavor and aroma since its made with extra virgin coconut oil. While Cocoavo pure has a buttery flavor from avocado oil since it’s made with pure deodorized coconut oil. Both have a high smoke point plus you get the potential benefits of lauric acid which may support immune health.

Spiced Pomegranate Apple Cider

Finally we have a POMEGRANATE SPICED CIDER. To a saucepan on the stovetop, add apple cider, spices and POM Wonderful 100% pomegranate juice which is made from whole-pressed pomegranates, has no added ingredients like sugars or fillers, and has four times the antioxidants, as green tea on average.

Friday calls for banana bread 3 ways 🍌🍞 (swi Friday calls for banana bread 3 ways 🍌🍞 (swipe) - I used my base banana oat bread recipe & customized for fruity, nutty & chocolatey lovers 🍓🍫🥜plus added @mooala_koala plant-based original banana milk which is nut- & dairy-free made with bananas + sunflower seeds and no added sugar. ✨Recipes deats below 👇#bananabread #healthybananabread #bananabread3ways #RDeats #nutritionbymia

For the base, you’ll need:
2 bananas
2 cups oats
1/3 cup Manuka honey
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup Mooala Original Banana Milk

🍫Chocolate add-ins: 1/4 cup cacao powder + 1/2 cup chocolate chips
🍓Strawberry cream cheese add-ins: 1 cup chopped strawberries, 1/4 cup cream cheese
✨Walnut add-ins: 1/2 cup walnuts, 2 tsp cinnamon 

What to do:
1️⃣Preheat oven to 350 F.
2️⃣Add base ingredients to a food processor and process until smooth. Fold in add-ins gently by hand and transfer to a pre-greased or pre-lined bread pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until set. Allow to cool before slicing.
