With March being nutrition month, it’s a perfect time to prioritize your health and wellness. I am on CBS Austin with realistic tips and recipes to help set yourself up for healthy eating success.
My first tip is to start the day off on a nutritious note with 1 serving of fruit. One of my favorite ways to do that is with Florida Orange Juice or as I like to call it, The Original Wellness Drink.
100% orange juice paired with a healthy lifestyle may help support a strong immune system by providing a variety of nutrients. In fact, each 8-ounce glass of orange juice includes vitamin C, potassium, folate, and other beneficial plant compounds. You can also get vitamin D if you drink fortified juice. Additionally, an 8-ounce serving has fewer calories than other commonly consumed fruit juices and its key nutrients with no added sugar make it a great substitution for a variety of other drink choices like sugar sweetened beverages. These factors make Florida Orange Juice a delicious addition to any recipe, cocktail or even mocktail. For fun mealtime inspiration, be sure to check out FloridaJuice.com. Another delicious way to start your day is with Seven Sundays cereals and protein oats.

They are a proud woman-founded and run Certified B Corporation thinking outside the box to restore people & planet health. These ingredient-led innovators are innovating at the intersection of people and planet health, using upcycled and regeneratively grown ingredients to create nutrient-rich, climate-friendly cereals. You can find Seven Sundays Cereals and Protein Oats nationwide at Costco, Whole Foods, Sprouts and many more natural grocers.
Next, sweeten up their life without the spike, carbs, or calories of processed sugar with SweetLeaf’s better-for-you sweeteners that taste just as delicious as the real thing..
SweetLeaf® Sweet Drops® are a keto-friendly, gluten-free, zero calorie liquid sweetener that can help sweeten up your favorite recipes and drinks without any additional flavors or sugars. Sweet Leafs All Purpose Sweeteners taste, bake, brown and caramelize just like sugar, measure cup for cup just like sugar and have no artificial ingredients. They bake perfectly into one of my favorite desserts with benefits – black bean brownies. In a food processor, combine 2 eggs with 1 can of black beans, 3 tbsp oil, ¾ cup cocoa powder, ¼ tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp baking powder and ½ cup of SweetLeaf® Indulge Granular Zero Calorie All Purpose Sweetener which is blended with allulose, prebiotic inulin, stevia leaf extract, and monk fruit extract. Transfer to a baking pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350 F. You can find the SweetLeaf products locally a Kroger.
Finally, support your family’s gut and immune health with probiotics.
Probiotics are beneficial found naturally in foods like yogurt, kimchi and sauerkraut that provide health benefits when consumed including helping to maintain a healthy digestive tract where 70% of the immune system resides. If you don’t consume these foods often, consider TruBiotics®, a science-backed probiotic supplement line made with the most clinically researched strains of beneficial bacteria that work naturally to support both digestive and immune health at all stages of life. There are options for the whole family including Women, Adults and Kids in sugar-free gummies and capsules. You can find TruBiotics online on Amazon and at select Walmart and Walgreen stores.
