3-Ingredient chocolate pecan banana bites! Satisfy your sweet and crunchy cravings naturally with bananas + pecans.

Pecans are incredibly versatile and add naturally sweet, buttery flavor and crunch to this easy dessert. This recipe calls for a 1 oz. serving of pecans which provides 3 g each of plant-based protein and fiber, minerals and good fats, including 12 g monounsaturated fat and only 2 g saturated fat.

3-Ingredient Chocolate Pecan Banana Bites

Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips 
  • 1 oz. pecans, chopped  

Instructions
 

  • Slice banana and place on a nonstick or parchment-paper lined baking sheet and freeze for 1 hour. 
  • Melt chocolate using the double boiler method and dip banana slices into the chocolate using  a fork and let the excess chocolate drip off before placing on the baking sheet. Top each banana bite with chopped pecans and freeze until set.
