Spiced Apple Cider with Orange Zest

Warm up with a holiday hug in a cup.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of fresh apple juice (2-4 apples depending on size)
- 3 cardomom, pods
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1-inch piece of ginger
- ~1 tsp fresh orange zest
- 2 thinly sliced pieces of orange
Instructions
- Juice your 2-4 apples (will depend on size and quality of your juicer). Pour the fresh juice into a medium saucepan.
- Add your spices: cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and orange zest.
- Cover and heat on low-medium for about ~5 minutes until the mixture starts to get warm (doesn't need to boil). Add your orange slices and heat for another ~5 minutes.
- Pour through a strainer to remove orange, ginger and spices. Serve warm!
