Nothing says fall like apple + cinnamon!
Meet your new favorite dessert for fall – a 5 ingredient apple cinnamon crisp. Made with fiber- and vitamin C-rich in-season apples, naturally sweet cinnamon spice and Voortman’s new Apple Crisp Wafers which add the perfect amount of crunch, texture and cinnamon apple sweetness to this recipe.
Skillet desserts are the way to go in the fall as the temperatures drop and we spend more time indoors cooking.
Nothing says autumn like in-season apples. This recipe can be made with any apple of choice. If you want a more tart apple flavor, try Granny Smith and for crunch, I like using Honey Crisp.
Typically crumble topping require a long list of ingredients to add flavor, the perfect among of crisp and texture. The great thing about this recipe is that the Voortman’s Apple Crisp Wafers check all of those boxes which allows you to cut back on cook and prep time as well as clean up.
